El Salvador Government Offers Financial Education for Micro and Small Entrepreneurs.

Paul Steiner, the president of the National Commission for Micro and Small Enterprises (CONAMYPE), has praised the efforts of the Salvadoran government in providing financial education to micro and small entrepreneurs.

«We have an online education program, an eight-module diploma, and many people are approaching us. We also offer financial education courses,» Steiner explained.

The president of CONAMYPE invited both established merchants and aspiring entrepreneurs to visit the institution’s website to explore the various online education programs available to enhance their knowledge.

These training sessions can be tailored to fit each individual’s schedule, as they are conducted virtually through pre-recorded videos. Additionally, the institution’s YouTube channel features a variety of webinars covering topics related to business administration.

The Salvadoran government is committed to boosting the economy, with micro-entrepreneurs and self-employed workers being key players, totaling more than 1.1 million individuals.

Steiner emphasized the sense of security fostered by the #PlanControlTerritorial, which has encouraged many people to start their own businesses. «People feel confident enough to invest their savings,» he stated.

«CONAMYPE plays a vital role in fostering and protecting micro and medium-sized enterprises. We must support them until they grow into small enterprises and eventually become medium-sized,» he underscored.
