Bearcats Women’s Basketball drops 4th in a row as they fall to Vermont 53-40

BURLINGTON, VT (WBNG) -- Binghamton Women’s Basketball drops to 11-10 overall, and 3-5 in the America East after a 53-40 road loss to the Vermont Catamounts.

The loss is the fourth in a row for the Bearcats, and the 5th in the team’s last 8 games.

Binghamton’s offense was paced by Sophomore Guards Leah Middleton and Yanniah Boyd. Boyd scored 11 points in the loss, and Middleton added another 10 for Binghamton.

Sophomore Forward Kendall Bennett set a new personal best for her Bearcat career grabbing 10 rebounds.

Binghamton tries to stop the slide at 4 games this Saturday, back at home against UAlbany. Tip off between the Bearcats and the Great Danes is set for 2:00pm, on Dr. Bai Lee Court.
