Georgia’s Finance Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze is paying a working visit to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland where he is holding official meetings, Agenda reports.
Bakhtadze met the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Sir Suma Chakrabarti, where they talked about ongoing and future projects.
Bakhtadze also participated in the presentation of a study published by the International Budget Partnership.
On the first day of the visit Bakhtadze attended a presentation organised by one of the leading Georgian banks, TBC Bank, on economic conditions and investment in Georgia, which was attended by representatives of business circles, investment funds and financial institutions.
Later Bakhtadze gave an interview to Bloomberg during which he talked about already implemented reforms in Georgia and the government’s future plans for economic development.
